Privacy Policy for Overlay Drawing

This Privacy Policy explains how LRLR (“we”, “us”) handles information in the Android app Overlay Drawing, published on Google Play as Overlay Drawing: Screen Pen. It applies to every version of the app we distribute.

1. Summary

• The app has no user accounts and shows no ads. We do not sell your data.
• Your drawings and settings are stored only on your device. We do not run a server that receives them.
• The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand which features are used (section 5).
• Core features are free. Optional donations are handled by Google Play, and donors get special brushes as a thank-you (section 6).

2. Data stored on your device

The app stores the following on your device only:

• The lines, shapes and drawings you create, separately for portrait and landscape.
• Your style settings (color, thickness, opacity, line pattern) and the position of the floating controls.
• Presets you save.

This data never leaves your device. Android cloud backup is turned off for this app, so it is not copied to your Google account. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes it.

3. What the app does not do

• It does not capture, record or read the content of your screen or of other apps.
• It does not use Android accessibility services.
• It does not access your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
• It does not know which app is running underneath the drawing.

4. Permissions

• Display over other apps — shows your drawing and the floating controls on top of other apps. The app explains this before opening the system setting.
• Foreground service — keeps the overlay running while you use other apps.
• Notifications — shows a notification while the overlay is running, with actions to show the drawing again or stop the overlay.
• Internet — used only to send the usage analytics in section 5 and to make donations through Google Play.

5. Usage analytics (Google Firebase)

We use Firebase Analytics to learn how the app is used, for example how many people finish placing and locking their first drawing, which tools and shapes are used, and how often the overlay is started. Events describe app actions only; they do not contain your drawings, their coordinates, or anything shown by other apps on your screen.

Firebase Analytics uses identifiers such as the app instance ID, collects device information (model, Android version, language, app version) and may derive an approximate region from your IP address. It does not use the advertising ID. Google processes this data as described in the Firebase privacy information and the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Donations (Google Play)

The app's core features are free. You can choose to make a donation, which is sold as an in-app product through Google Play Billing. As a thank-you, donors get special brushes. Payment is handled by Google Play under the Google Privacy Policy; we never receive your card or payment details. The app receives only the purchase status, to unlock the donor brushes and remember that you donated.

7. Emails you send us

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and what you write, and use them only to reply and to fix problems. We delete your messages on request.

8. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If the app starts sending data to another service, we will describe it here before releasing that version.
